Whale watching baot trip in Tenerife.

Enjoy a boat trip along the south coast of Tenerife to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.

We will depart from Puerto de Colón and during our trip we will sail up to 3 miles away from the coast in order to see these cetaceans. For this reason, the boat may rock a little and we recommend that you take some precautions if you think you might get seasick.

Travel in spacious catamarans and discover some of the species that live all year round in this part of Tenerife. That is why we will see pilot whales on 99% of the trips and on approximately 60% of the outings we will see bottlenose dolphins.

In addition to these marine mammals, it is possible for us to encounter other types of cetaceans during our excursion, such as rough, striped or spotted dolphins, grey pilot whales and sperm whales. In any event, the guides on the boat will point out the species that we encounter so that you don’t miss any details.

While it is normal to both sit and move around the boat during the excursion, you can hire comfortable deckchairs at the helm of the boat for 5 euros per person. These deckchairs cannot be booked in advance and, if you are interested, you will have to request them from the crew.

After spotting the cetaceans, we will anchor the boat so that you can take a dip in the sea before returning to port.

At the end of the tour and upon returning to port, we will take you back to the pick-up point if you selected this option when you booked the excursion, otherwise we will leave you at the pier if you indicated that you would arrange your own transportation when you booked. Either way, we hope that at the end of the excursion you will return with the impression that you have enjoyed one of the most memorable moments of your holiday in Tenerife.

Recommendations: bring a swimsuit and towel in case you want to swim, as well as sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen.

Seasickness prevention: if you think you might get seasick, ask for a remedy to prevent it at a chemist’s.
